How frequently do I wash them and how?

We recommend this washing your extensions 25-30 wears or when you notice a build-up on the product.

First step: Brush your extensions BEFORE washing. Then, stack each weft on top of each other to keep them from tangling while you are washing.

Step 2: Fill a large bowl with lukewarm water, make sure the water is hot too hot. Add three pumps of shampoo into the water and swish the product around in the water until the water becomes soapy.

Step 3: Shampoo each weft and apply conditioner we recommend using sulfate-free products for this process. Always wash gently to avoid tangling. Leave conditioner on for 5-10 minutes, then rinse out each weft thoroughly. The longer you leave it on the better.

Step 4 : Lay each weft out to air dry First, carefully squeeze any excess water from the extensions and make sure that you never rub your extensions dry with a towel. We always recommend Air-drying your extensions whenever possible. When air drying, be sure to invest in a micro-fibre towel as it will remove excess water faster and it won’ttangle your extensions. Lay out all of the wefts on a flat surface and gently pat the excess moisture from the hair. If you see some frizz You can use a small amount of hair oil to each weft to ensure the hair remains manageable and silky smooth. If you must blow-dry your extensions, be sure to use a heat protectant spray prior to blow-drying to extend the lifespan of your hair extensions. The most important thing is to ensure that you are blow drying on a cool setting to prevent any heat damage and that you don’t brush the hair until it is 90% dry. When blow-drying, start by focusing on
drying the root of the weft first and then working your way down to the ends. Always blow-dry downwards as this will help to not only smooth the cuticle but it will also

prevent the hair from getting tangled since it is being blown in lots of different directions.

Step 5: Comb each weft Combing wet hair is usually not recommended as this is when the hair is at its most fragile state, however, in order to ensure that your extensions dry straight, you can make an exception. Gently brush each weft.

Silk Products

What is mulberry silk?

Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk available for purchase. The unique thing about Mulberry silk is how it is produced; Mulberry silk has its history in China, where local farmers grow Mulberry trees and harvest the leaves for silkworms to feed on. The resulting cocoons are spun into raw silk fibers.

How do I wash my silk products ?

Wash Mulberry Silk by hand in lukewarm water. Washing in a machine can damage the fabric. Using hot water can cause the silk to lose its color. You can wash your silk under tap water, or fill a sink basin or other bowl with lukewarm water and soak.

Why sleep on a No Basic silk pillowcase instead of cotton or satin?

No Basic silk pillowase is made with 100 percent Mulberry silk which protects your hair and keeps your skin crease-free and glowing. Cotton scratches and pulls your skin, resulting in premature stretching and sleep-creases. Synthetic satin is a poor petroleum based substitute for real ulberry silk.

What's the difference between satin pillowcase and silk pillowcase?

Technically, ‘satin’ isn’t a fabric; it’s a finish. The term ‘satin pillowcase’ is a misleading abbreviation that has occurred over the years, which generally means synthetic satin pillowcase.

Silk is a natural fibre, whereas ‘satin’ is petroleum based. It’s thinner, rougher and it ‘sweats’, essentially negating the benefits. The purposes of a silk pillowcase is that it’s a bit softer and breathes better.
